This Indian shot silk dupion is a show stopping, midweight silk. It has an iridescent quality to it, with interwoven shades of vibrant sapphire blue and fuchsia, and a visible weave with slubs throughout. Made from silk from wild silk worms - which create raw, uneven filaments - this silk has a unique, textured finish. It has plenty of body, structure and doesn't crease easily - making it perfect for statement dresses, jackets, skirts or any occasion wear.

The key ingredients involved in making luxurious Indian silk are these: the unique characteristics of the wild Indian silk, and the centuries old techniques used in the Indian cottage industry.
